This initiative is crucial as the pitch is central to the club's activities, from first-team matches to community events. By sponsoring a Pitch Square, fans can play a direct role in enhancing the quality of the pitch for the upcoming season. The initiative divides the pitch into 156 individual squares, each available for sponsorship. This unique opportunity allows fans to dedicate a square in their name, family name, or business name, creating a personal connection to Scunthorpe United. Each sponsor will receive recognition in the official matchday programme, a digital certificate, and their name listed on the club's website. Funds raised will support essential renovations, including improved drainage and sprinkler systems, addressing issues faced in previous seasons. With only 156 squares available on a first-come, first-served basis, fans are encouraged to secure their sponsorship for just £100 + VAT.
