Eastleigh returned to winning ways in the National League, sealing a 3-2 home victory against Scunthorpe United. Goals from Harry Sidwell, Aaron Blair and Josh Lundstram gave Matt Gray's side their second league win of the new season. A positive start from the Spitfires was eventually rewarded as Sidwell, on loan from AFC Wimbledon, scored a lovely goal from range in the 37th minute. Alfie Beestin equalised for the visitors early into the second half before Blair restored Eastleigh's lead in the 55th minute. James Gale found the Iron's second equaliser of the afternoon with 20 minutes left but Lundstram made sure Matt Gray's side were victorious just two minutes later.
